Creative Business Forum
BNW was commissioned to create the visual identity of Russian Creativity Week - as single-entry point for all target audiences - united by the idea of Russian creative development, as well as for the connected event, the first Creative Business Forum. St. Petersburg International Economic Forum hosted the first Creative Business Forum from June 2–5, 2021. The purpose of the Forum was to bring together representatives of government and business with the leaders of the creative community. Forum discussed the development of the industry in Russia and worldwide, as well as tried to formulate common objectives and create a platform for a three-way dialogue. The main theme of the Forum was "Creative Economy in a New Reality". The organizer of the Forum was the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation - the Innosocium Foundation.
“Russian Creativity Week” is the first Russian international festival of the entire creative industries, showcasing the power of creativity that allows us to solve the most complex problems of our time, and achieve positive changes in people’s lives. The mission of RCW is the formation of self-identity of the Russian creative industries, fostering the economic potential of the Russian creative community. The festival was held in Moscow on September 11-13, 2021 in 14 specially designed lecture halls inside Gorky Park, with a rich accompanying events program. At the same time, special introductory events took place in the Russian Federation regions from September 7-10, as part of the first “Russian Creativity Week”. The program was tailor-made by curators to confirm the goals and specifics important for the development of creative industries in each respective region.
Our branding guru Jovan Jelovac from Zürich, Switzerland, created an in-depth analysis how to best combine Moscow and the Russian regions, while in the same time communicating a strongly Russian message to the world, inviting the global creative community to participate in the event as much as the local Russian creative and business communities. Jelovac’s solution was to combine the ingenious modern handwriting of a contemporary Muscovite author, architect Plotkin, whom BNW commissioned to design the 14 creative industries pavilions inside Gorky Park, with the authentic typographic excellence designed by two other Russian geniuses - Nikita Kanarev from the Altai, and Denis Serebryakov from Minsk.
BNW communicated the new visual identity of Creative Business Forum through advertisements and promo-tools.
