DIMORESTUDIO Creates a Vibrant Setting for the Newly Opened Brand New World Salon in Zürich by Designboom, IT

Furnished with the latest and most iconic pieces designed by the Milan-based DIMORESTUDIO, part of the ‘Progetto non finito‘ and ‘Progetto tessuti‘ collections. Launched during Milan Design Week 2017, ‘Poltrona 101’ with its sleek metallic structure and richly textured cushion, ‘Tavolo basso 116’ with its mirrored surface, ‘Lampada 108’, reminiscent of Asian lanterns with a lampshade in painted silk, ‘Armadio 099’ in mahogany with poly-lacquered finish and mirrored base, handles and decoration, a richly draped curtain in linen depicting a crowd of people, and cushions portraying female figures – are all part of the special set up. Also featured are ‘Divano 010’ with its oxidised brass structure and ribbon like legs, ‘Applique 107’ with its brass structure and decorated mirror lampshade, ‘Coprivasi 095’ in metal, and the bold monochrome ‘Tappeto 004’ in wool.

Brand New World is a global design intelligence consultancy based in Zürich, Switzerland and the brainchild of creative entrepreneurs Vesna and Jovan Jelovac. It is a newly opened boutique contemporary platform to experience design thinking and will change the way people think about and engage with design.
Glossy mirror surfaces are paired with bronze and brass finishes
Its mission is to promote collectible design objects that will constantly grow in value and it will make design ‘magical and metamorphic’. The salon shall become Zürich’s boutique premium, year-round window to the best of the sparkle of global contemporary and collectible design from Berlin, Brussels, London, Madrid, Milan, NY, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro. The show is on until 11th November, the 40 square metre (only!) Brand New World salon is located at Dufourstrasse 169, Zürich.
